I suffer from allergies for which I am required to regularly take medications. Is it possible to get insured?
Yes. Allergies do not exclude your ability to be insured.
I have high blood pressure and I regularly take medications. Is it possible for me for me to get insured?
Unfortunately no, since you are under permanent medical control and treatment, under General Terms and Conditions we can not provide insurance for you.
I am a professional athlete. Is it possible to get insured?
Yes, but if you’re injured at work (when performing your sports activities), the insurance will not cover the damage. If the injury is caused during your every day activities, i.e. in traffic and similar, it shall be covered with insurance.
Is it possible for a partially disable retired to be insured?
No. When signing the insurance contract, the client declares that he/she is healthy and is not under permanent medical care or regular medical control due to the chronic disease which includes permanent medication.
In the course of the last year I have been employed by two employers, without interruption between the two jobs. Am I allowed to get insurance although the application says that permanent employment during the previous year is required?
Yes. The important thing is that you have been employed without interruption for the last 12 months.
I started working 6 months ago. Am I allowed to get insurance although the application says that I have to be permanently employed during the last year?
Yes, but in case of an occurrence of the insured event due to termination of employment (dismissal), it is important to be employed without interruption for the last 12 months. After you fulfil this requirement (upon the expiration of 12 months from taking the job), this event too shall be covered. In case of occurrence of the insured event duo to long illness or death, you shall be covered from the first day of insurance, i.e. payment of insurance premium, against the occurrence of the insured event due to long illness or death.
Does the insurance against long-term working disability refer to occupational accident as well?
Yes. The insurance refers to working disability as consequences of any injury, includ occupational accidents as well.
Can the insured client stop paying the loan annuities – in case of occurrence of the insured event, or only after having sent the filled-in form ‘Notification of insured event’?
Under the Loan Contract, the insured client is required to pay the annuities according to the agreed repayment plan (even if the insured event has occurred). After having submitted the appropriate documentation, which shall serve as the basis on which the insurance company shall decide on whether the request for compensation is justified, the insured shall be indemnified for the amount of paid annuities, and the Insurer shall continue to pay the annuities to the Bank, in line with the insurance terms and conditions.
Is it possible to file an indemnity claim retrospectively?
Yes, it is possible to file for the agreed indemnity from insurance later, but within the statutory period.
